In 2025, New Zealand sold USD 1.11 billion of goods to Taiwan and bought USD 590 million from it. The DESTA database lists 1 trade agreement that includes both countries, the most recent being New Zealand Taiwan (2013). Both are members of APEC. In 2024, 11 thousand people born in Taiwan lived in New Zealand. In 2025, New Zealand sold USD 10.5 million of electrical and electronic equipment to Taiwan and bought USD 120 million from it.
