BluSmart

This memorandum documents the public evidence available on BluSmart, an all-electric ride-hailing platform founded in India in 2019, covering its corporate structure, funding history, product and technology claims, and the regulatory and insolvency events that affected it in 2025. It separates what is independently verifiable from what remains a claim, an interpretation, or an unresolved gap in public documentation.

Headline Finding

BluSmart's founders, also promoters of listed Gensol Engineering, were named in a SEBI interim order (15 April 2025) alleging diversion of loan funds meant for EV purchases toward personal spending; two days later BluSmart suspended all bookings, wallet refunds were disputed, and by mid to late 2025 NCLT Ahmedabad had admitted insolvency petitions against the BluSmart entity.
